"Uncle Vanya" by Dainana Gekijo

Saturday, September 5
Theater 21, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa

"Uncle Vanya" is said to be the play by Anton Chekhov with the most beautiful dialogs.
One year has passed since first performance of this play, which took place in 2019. Its success enabled the company to embark on a nationwide tour, of which these Kanazawa presentations are a part. The story is about people who are baffled when confronted with the enormity of what they have lost.
